NENSA Competitive Events & Programming

NENSA and the northeastern ski community offers a wide range of competitive race and program opportunities for people of all ages. Popular & Community Racing provides competitive events for all ages and experience levels with season-long scoring; the Eastern Cup Series is NENSA's most competitive race series designed primarily for junior, senior, and master athletes (this series serves as the New England qualifying races for the Junior Nationals); the Marathon Series is a collection of community marathon races; the BKL Festival is a fun Festival for elementary and middle school skiers that includes racing as well as a variety of other fun noncompetitive activities; the Eastern U16 Championships and Eastern High School Championships are three-day championship events for top U16 skiers and high school skiers respectively (athletes must qualify for these events); and Junior Nationals is a national-level championship event for top U16, U18, and U20 athletes (athletes must qualify for this event).

Check out the links below to learn more about these competitive events. You can also check out our events calendar HERE. And in addition to event offerings, there is also information below about race rules, training camps, NENSA elite and development teams, racing age groups, funding opportunities, qualifying protocols for championship events, and more.
