NENSA and the Ogden Family are deeply appreciative of the overwhelming support for an endowment to perpetuate John’s vision for youth cross country ski development in New England.
Donors near and far touched our hearts and humbled us with their generosity. The $815,000 raised in 2023-24 significantly surpassed our short-term goal of $750,000, providing more than half of the funding needed to permanently support the John Ogden Youth & Introductory Program Director position and programming.
John was a passionate advocate for a welcoming, healthy, and fun youth sport culture. The values he championed and the spirit he inspired are the heartbeat of the New England ski community, from children making their first tracks at school or BKL practice to top World Cup and Olympic skiers.
