Eastern High School Championships
The NENSA Eastern High School Championships is the premier event for high school and prep school racers in New England and New York. Competition between states is highly competitive and media is attention is significant. The goal of the EHSC is to provide the highest quality competition for high school-aged athletes. Athletes qualify for the EHS Championships through state qualifying races (ME, NH, VT, MA, and NY). Up to 24 boys and 24 girls are selected for each state’s teams. Please contact your team leader, listed below in the Team Leader Contact icon, for more details. Athletes residing in CT that would like more information please contact Kait Miller at [email protected].
In light of the pandemic, U16 Championships has moved to a state-based model for 2021. NENSA will work with each state to host championship events that fits safely within their state’s COVID guidelines. Plans are in the works for the exact format of these events but will likely include a unique challenge event in addition to racing, with metrics that facilitate competition between the states. We are actively working towards a concrete plan within this new structure and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we all navigate this new world. Our goal is to offer fun, inclusive, and, above all, safe events this season. We will keep you posted as our planning progresses and we have more details to share!
Official host for 2022 is Titcomb Mountain in Farmington, Maine.
