
U16 Championships
The NENSA U16 Eastern Championships began modestly in 1992 has grown into one of the highlights of the season for junior athletes. Each New England state and New York can qualify their fastest 24 – U16 (Ages: 14-15) year old boys and girls. Four races take place over 2 1/2 days. Seeded wave starts ensure match racing at its finest. This event will typically see invited entries from other regions within the US and Canada.
2021 State-Based Model: In light of the pandemic, a combined EHSC and U16 Championship Event--Eastern State Champs--will be held in every regularly participating New England state possible.
Official host for 2022 is the Fort Kent Outdoor Center in Fort Kent, Maine.
