2019 Junior National Coaching Call Opens

October 15, 2018 by Justin Beckwith Leave a Comment

It’s that time of year!  NENSA is looking to build the coach and tech staff for the 2019 Junior Nationals to be held March 9th – 17th In Anchorage, Alaska.  Submit an application here.

More information about the event: http://www.juniornationalsxc2019.com/

Help support New England Juniors in their quest for individual and divisional success.  We are looking for team players, both wily veterans and aspiring coaches, to create a fun and focused staff.

The New England Team coaching staff is selected through an application process that aims to support our young athletes with a strong team, blending some of our most experienced coaches with those who are looking to develop their coaching and technical skills. Coaches who have attended JN’s several years in a row may be rotated with newer coaches. This ensures an educational pipeline for coach development within our region. All are welcome to apply!

The workload of managing a team of 50+ plus athletes is a formidable and equally rewarding task — the key to success is steady work and a humble team atmosphere. This is accomplished with the help of the coaches like you, who volunteer their time for the week of Junior Nationals.

An active NENSA membership, and current US Ski and Snowboard L100 (or L200) Coaches Certification is required to be eligible.

You must be available Friday March 8th through Sunday March 17th.

Applications due by Wednesday, October 31th. Questions? Email me at [email protected] Thanks!
