George Voigt, a 2017 Colby College grad, and a former member of their cross country ski team, has joined NENSA as our new Operations Manager, and will be responsible for the oversight of all of NENSA’s membership and systems operations. George will be full time in our New Gloucester Maine office, that NENSA shares with US Biathlon, working half time for NENSA and half time for USBA. We are thrilled to have George join our NENSA team! George will be our “go to” membership staff person – he is there for all our NENSA members and clubs – to be that friendly voice on the other end of the phone or email, to help you with any membership questions and renewals you may have. He will also be in charge of all our systems, keeping both our NENSA.net website and our software tools and platforms current, and will work with the staff to keep our results and rankings up to date, and supporting NENSA’s programing and mission.
George was a double major in Environmental Policy and Economics. He has been a competitive Nordic skier and member of NENSA for ten years. Nordic skiing is his passion in life, and he has coached and encouraged younger skiers throughout his own racing career. He is very excited to now be supporting the Nordic ski community here in New England through NENSA.
George can be reached at George@nensa.net or by phone at our Maine office 207-688-6503. We are super excited to have George be the newest member of our NENSA staff and team! Welcome George!
