NENSA offers a number of “Learn-to-Rollerski” clinics which are sessions aimed at those new to rollerskiing. These clinics are often held in conjunction with NENSA rollerski races or camps. Attendees will have access to NENSA’s rollerski fleet but need to supply their own boots, poles, and helmet. For equipment guidelines, see our Rollerski Policies and Procedures page here. These clinics focus on teaching the fundamentals of skiing, including stopping, turning, basic techniques, agility skills, and engaging games. For the latest information on upcoming events, please check our events calendar.
Request NENSA-led Rollerski Clinic for your club/camp: Email our Youth & Introductory Program Director at mackenzie@nensa.net to check on staff availability and schedule a session. We charge $10/person for clinics which helps cover a portion of associated costs (i.e. staff travel) but if your program cannot afford the fee, please let us know and we will figure something out.
USSS Coaches Certification/On-Rollerski Assessments
The US Ski and Snowboard Coach Development system is undergoing a major re-development this year (2024). See more here.
In accordance with these changes, NENSA will be offering its primary coach certification assessment at our Fall Coaches Symposium, held Oct. 5th, 2024 at the Dublin School in Dublin, New Hampshire. Full details forthcoming.
We thank our coach community for your patience as we navigate the transition to the new USSS Coach Development model and work to understand how NENSA can best serve our community through it.
