PARA NORDIC SKI CLINIC

Weston Ski Track and New England Adaptive Sports are coming together to host a Para Nordic clinic for sit, standing and visually impaired athletes. U.S. Paralympics Nordic Skiing coaches and athletes will be on site as well to help introduce new skiers to the sport of Para Nordic Skiing. It is a one day clinic on January 27th. The goal of the clinic is to provide an opportunity to new people in the Northeast to come and try Para Nordic skiing. There will be a bunch of sit skis there and if participants register at least 10 days in advance the organizer will make sure to have a sit ski that will be well suited for them to use. Standing and VI athletes are most welcome too!
The hosts are also looking for volunteers, (including guides). No experience working with Para athlete is necessary. Training will be offered over Zoom as well as on site prior to the clinic.
