Bogburn Classic (Club & Zak)

There is DOR until 9am for BKL and 12:30 for Open

“The Bogburn is a classic race unlike any other. The course is narrow, only one classic track wide, and the trail is winding and convoluted.” Adam Glueck circa 2017.

UPDATED SCHEDULE:
1st-4th Grade — 9:30 AM 2 km (one lap)
5th-6th Grade — 9:45 AM 3 km (two laps)
7th – 8th Grade Boys — 10:00 AM 4 km (three laps)
Lollipop — 10:30 – 300m – Mass Start – Show and Go – No registration (stadium loop)
Junior Awards — 11:00am – Event Barn
Open — 1:00 PM 10 km (six laps)
U16 — 1:30 PM 5 km (four laps)
Open Awards — 2:30pm

New England skiers flocked to Pomfret, Vermont for many winters for a classic ski race that cites historical winners since 1986. The Haydock’s welcomed the community to their property to highlight their love of classic skiing in a low-key and super friendly environment.  For nearly forty years the event persisted despite Mother natures whims. 

In 2023 the torch was passed from Haydock to the awesome folks at the Rikert Outdoor Center with the goal to preserve the true nature of this race.  And so the event goes on — and is a favorite for old school skiers and up and coming rippers alike.

The Bogburn is for all skiers!  Lollipop to Masters! Join us!
