Parking & Shuttle Information: We have a record number of participants this year, please consider carpooling with your friends and teammates, it will make things easier for everyone. This document has all the details about parking as well as shuttle bus options and car pool lots.
Electric Vehicles: There are no charging stations at Rikert. Please see the parking and shuttle bus document for charging locations in Middlebury.
Drop Off: Because our main parking area is across Route 125, we will offer a child and equipment drop off near the Outdoor Center. Please follow our parking volunteers directions to the drop-off area. See venue map below for more details or online HERE.
Furry Friends: Please leave your dogs at home. Thank you for your cooperation.
2024 BKL Festival Parking and Shuttle Information
We have a record number of kids registered this year so PLEASE, PLEASE consider carpooling or taking one of our bus options!
Carpool Parking Areas:
- Mary Hogan School in Middlebury, right off of Route 7/Court Street, is a very large lot next to the school and Rec Park. It has around 150 parking spaces. (201 Mary Hogan Dr, Middlebury, VT 05753)
- Mill Street Parking Area in Middlebury, right downtown, has several EV chargers, and is within walking distance of TVT bus stop on Academy Street. The lot has ~75 spaces. (12 Mill St, Middlebury, VT 05753)
On-site Parking:
Parking in the parking lot next to the Outdoor Center and Stadium Area will be limited to staff, officials, volunteers, and coaches. A parking pass is required for this lot. (106 College Cross Road, Ripton VT 05766)The main parking area will be across Route 125. Guests staying on-site at the Bread Loaf Inn will be parking there as well. There is a footpath with crossing guards from the lot to the stadium and club tent area.
Midd Rides Ripton Shuttle:
We’ll be running a shuttle between Ripton Elementary School and Rikert on both Saturday and Sunday. Park at the school and hop on the bus for a 10 minute ride up to Rikert. The school parking lot has 50-60 spaces. Look for the “Midd Rides” bus. It will run continuously between 9am and 4pm (753 Lincoln Rd, Ripton, VT 05766)
Tri-Valley Transit Snowbowl Shuttle:
Tri-Valley Transit will run the Snowbowl shuttle from Middlebury to Rikert all weekend long. There is no charge to ride the bus. This is a great option for those racing later in the day. Here is the schedule. (Look for the purple “Ski Season, Sat./Sun.) The best place to board the bus is Academy Street in Middlebury where there is a parking lot across from the bus stop, and lots of street parking nearby. For folks staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Middlebury, the bus will be stopping there on each of its morning runs up to Rikert on both Saturday and Sunday!
