NENSA Event Organizers are doing a wonderful job hosting events, often with crews of dedicated volunteers they have grown to rely upon year-in and year-out. In response to interest from event organizers and community members, and to better share and promote opportunities for community engagement, NENSA is sharing a new signup tool this season.
Event Organizers
The volunteer sign-up tool is intended to bring in volunteers from the broader NENSA community to supplement local volunteers. NENSA will help you set up the registration form for your event. Your event volunteer coordinator would then be responsible for communications with NENSA community members who offer their time and skills. Here is an EXAMPLE of the volunteer sign up tool. Community Members
If you plan to spectate and/or would simply like to be part of these efforts, we encourage you to sign up for a shift. This sort of engagement is exactly what makes our New England community so vibrant and our events so special. Many hands might light work, allowing plenty of time to be involved and still cheer on your favorite athletes. Please check the NENSA calendar listing by event for sign up forms. Note that we are in the early stages of rolling out this tool, so it will not be on many of the event listings yet – please check two weeks prior to the event you are planning to attend and want to volunteer for.
