
Earning USSS Continuing Ed. Credits from NENSA Events
2 Credits = 1 Hour of Coach Ed. Engagement
10 Credits = Every 1 Year to Maintain USSS L100/L200
Logging NENSA Programs for USSS Continuing Ed. Credit
At present, USSS is not listing NENSA programs in the Sport Ed. Academy (SEA) for continuing ed. credits. You can count NENSA programs towards your USSS L100/L200 continuing ed. requirement by completing a self-report form in the SEA.
Examples of NENSA programs: Annual coaches conference, NENSA Speaker Series, on-ski clinics, introductory EC ski service.
How to Self-Report NENSA Program:
- Make sure your USSS Membership is Active
- SafeSport Requirement Completed
- Safety Requirements Completed (in Sport Ed. Academy as of 2025).
- Background Check Cleared.

2. Subscribe to the USSS Sport Ed. Academy at the Gold level.
3. Log in to the Sport. Ed. Academy HERE.
4. Click on Your Name in the Upper right hand corner. Click “My Account.”

5. Navigate to “Credits” on left hand menu.

6. Click “Self Reports.” Click “Add Self Report.”
7. Fill out the “New Self Report” Form
- Do math on how many credits you earned: 2 credits = 1 hour of engagement.
- Specific organization: “NENSA”
- Facilitator: If led by specific NENSA Staff or community member, input their name. Otherwise, “NENSA.”
- Describe content. You can always reference NENSA website.

8. Click “Save.” Credits will be visible in USSS Sport Ed. Academy.
