Craftsbury Race for Warmth

The Race for Warmth at Craftsbury Outdoor Center 2026

Ring in the new year with a ski race for a good cause. Unfortunately home heating insecurity is a growing problem both nationwide and here in the Northeast Kingdom community. Northeast Kingdom Community Action’s Warmth Fund is a statewide emergency assistance fund that provides critical financial support to households at risk of losing their heat during the coldest months of the year.

When NECKA approached Craftsbury about trying to get involved to raise money for the Warmth Fund, a race sounded like the perfect way to bring together our ski community for a good cause. Craftsbury will donate 85% of the proceeds of the event to the Warmth Fund (saving a bit to cover event expenses) so that we can help our neighbors stay warm this winter.

Whether you are looking for a tune-up race ahead of the heart of race season or you just want to get out for a ski and support a good cause, come join us at the Race for Warmth.
