MA NENSA Eastern State Champs COVID Requirements

Attendees MUST follow NENSA’s COVID Requirements and Massachusetts State Regulations.

Face Coverings: As per state and venue requirements, everyone at the Leo J Martin Ski Track must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth AT ALL TIMES (including while racing). Abiding by these requirements helps keep you and all those around you as safe as possible and we thank you for care and consideration. Please note that the jury reserves the right to levy sanctions if proper face covering protocol is not followed. We strongly encourage the use of double layer face coverings or surgical masks as opposed to single layer buffs and masks.

No Spectating: Spectating is prohibited and all accompanying family members must remain in their cars or leave the venue for the duration of the event. Bibs are required to be at the venue on event day and will only be given to coaches, volunteers, staff, and officials.

No Indoor Facilities Use: There will be no indoor space provided at the venue. You must base out of your vehicle and leave your belongings there as well: arrive, get ready to race in your car, check-in/collect your bib and chip, warm up, race, cool down, get back in your car and leave. There will be bathrooms on site!

Health Screening: All competitors must fill out a Pre-Event Health Screen by 5pm on Thursday February 11th or they will not be allowed to compete.  NENSA will distribute the Pre-Event Health Screen as soon as registration closes on Wednesday February 10th. Coaches, volunteers, and race officials are also subject to NENSA Health Screening. All attendees will also be required to fill out the CDC Facilities Health Screen the day of the event and show proof of completion at the bottom of the walkway by the bib pick-up tent upon arrival.  Covid Coordinators / Controllers will be present during the entire event.
