NENSA’s Annual April Fund Drive:

Greetings! What a successful year this has been for our beloved sport of cross country skiing! Echoing the nationwide enthusiasm and unprecedented media coverage from the Olympics, our NENSA programming is also booming. Our competitive pipeline is alive and well with New England skiers garnering podiums from Junior Nationals, Super Tour and World Championships and our Youth, Community & Masters programs are expanding. Your support is critical to continue our NENSA programs!

April is the month of the NENSA Annual Fund Drive and its success depends on every member - such as YOU! NENSA is "Going for Gold" and our goal is to raise $50,000 by April 30^th.

NENSA is thrilled to announce that a second anonymous donor has come forward to do a special week of Matching Gifts during this final week of our Annual April Fund Drive, Monday April 23 – Monday April 30th. We are ending this April Fund Drive with a “Nudge a Friend” week, meaning if you get a friend, fellow skier or family member to donate this week, the Matching Gift Donor will double that friends gift. (Example, if they donate $100 the anonymous donor will add $200 to that donation, for a total of $300 to NENSA) . All they need to do is write “referred by a friend (your name)” in the comments section at check out, then our Matching Donor will not just match, but will double that gift to our NENSA fund drive! And there is still more ~ if you make a donation this week, or have already donated to the April Fund Drive earlier this month, and nudge a friend to also donate this week, your donation made earlier this month, or this week, will also be DOUBLED!! WOW!!

This means the potential for two times the DOUBLE DOUBLE impact for NENSA and our programing. Please give as generously as you can, AND tell your friends and family to do so too, so we can take advantage of this wonderful doubling Matching Gift opportunity, and help us end the April Fund Drive with our goal of 50k being met and the funding in place to kick off another great year of NENSA programing!

All of these wonderful programs are run by NENSA, and the NENSA staff. Without NENSA, these programs for all ages, and top notch racing in New England would not exist. Many of our USST members, and medal winners on the World Cup, Olympic, World Championships, World Juniors, Supertours, US Senior and Junior Nationals, were all former Bill Koch skiers, who got their start in our local clubs, and/or are still training with New England based NENSA clubs today. But NENSA is much more than these great results ~ it is a family enjoying the Bill Koch Festival together, it is a group of friends attending Woman's Day, is it juniors spending time with their friends at ski practice, and BKL'ers playing games and learning a sport that will stay with them for life, it is coaches learning new skills at our NENSA trainings, and it is masters having fun with their friends and teammates racing at Zak Cups and Marathons all winter long. To keep NENSA running, and all these great events you know and love running, Please give as generously as you can -- every single donation counts!
