Woodstock Sweetheart Race

Part of the NENSA Popular (Zak) Racing Series

Join us for 2022 Woodstock Nordic Runners Sweetheart Race (BK Races & NENSA Zak Cup Race) at the Woodstock Inn & Resort Nordic Center. Races will take place at Knox Meadow, which is located one mile south of the Woodstock Inn & Resort Nordic Center. 

Lollipops (Kindergarten and younger) start at 10am, age groups to follow. All BKL races will be Classic Mass start by age group. 

In an effort to more gradually recognize results as kids get older, 1st – 4th graders will not be timed – order of finish only will be posted on site. There will be no podium or place ribbons. Times & results for 5th-8th graders will be posted on site & 5th-8th grade skiers will receive place ribbons for the top ten in each gender/age group and a podium ceremony.

Day of Race Registration and bib pick-up will be at the Knox Meadow Warming Hut beginning at 8:30am. BKL Day of race entry fee will be $15. Lollipops of DOR registration and are FREE. 

Approximate Race Schedule:

10:00am Lollipops (.5km) 

10:30am Grade 1/2 boys, 1:00 minute later the girls start

10:45am Grade 3/4 boys, 1:00 minute later the girls start

11:15 am Grades 5/6 boys, 1:00 minute later the girls start

11:45 am Grades 7/8 boys, 1:00 minute later the girls start

More information on race courses and start times will be provided at registration. Ribbons and treats to follow.

The Sweetheart Race is proud to be part of the NENSA Zak Cup series for the 2022 season! 

Zak Cup Racing begins at 1pm.  Races will be will be 15km on a 5km loop. Check back for course map.

Day of Race Registration and Bib pick-up for the afternoon races will be from 11:30am-12:30pm at the Knox Meadow warming hut.

Parents and spectators on skis are required to purchase a discounted trail pass for $10 at the Woodstock Nordic Center front desk.
