New England Club Relay Championship 4 x 5 km
*NENSA Club Cup Series Event*
The third annual New England Club Relay Championship will wrap up the 2019 Club Cup scoring.
The NE Club Relay Championship, hosted by Mansfield Nordic Club, attracts skiers of all ages and abilities and is perfect way to involve all club members in a fun and exciting event. The race format will be four legs of 5km (2 CL and then 2 FS). Each 4 person team will be in one of two age group categories. (Under 200 years of combined age or 200 years and over) Teams must be all male, all female, or mixed with at least two women. There are no gender or age limits on BKL teams. Each official team must be from the same NENSA Club/team. Unofficial teams (unofficial: not from the same club/team) may enter as well, but will not score for the official club championship award. This event will be scored for the 2018/19 NENSA Club points. Team awards will be presented to the top Male Team, Female Team, and Mixed Team for the two age groups. We will also have a BKL award for top team with no designation for male, female, or mixed teams. Clubs may enter as many teams as possible and club points will be scored using the sum of world cup points scored by each team for each club. For example: First place team in each category receives 100 pts down to 30th place team and beyond will receive one point.
