The Lake Placid Loppet returns to Mt Van Hoevenberg. Join us on February 26, 2023, for this special annual event open to everyone.
The Lake Placid Loppet is an exceptional Nordic event held in Lake Placid for over 30 years, thousands of skiers have descended on MVH. Taking on this challenging course that runs on a slightly modified version of the 50km course constructed for the 1980 Winter Olympics —making it one of the most challenging citizen races in the world! This invigorating event is open to all who are up for the challenge. Take on our 50k course in classic or skate disciplines. Not sure you’re ready for the entire length. We offer a Kort 25k too! This challenging race is a yearly tradition for skiers from near and far. Start your training now. The Loppet is on everyone’s 2023 list.
