GNA Summer Training Camp #2

• Mon Aug 9 – Sat Aug 14, Overnight Camp at the Craftsbury VT Outdoor Center
  • Fee for the week – varies based on participation in GNA Summer Training
    • For athletes enrolled in full-time Summer Training – $450
    • For athletes enrolled in part-time Summer Training – $500
    • For athletes not enrolled in full- or part-time GNA Summer Training (including people who pay ‘per-session’) – $550
  • Includes 5 nights stay and all meals (Craftsbury has great food!)
  • Must be fully-vaccinated in order to participate in this camp
  • Limited to 10-12 high-school aged athletes (U16-U18-U20) who want to improve their Nordic skiing
  • Coached by Nina, who will be staying onsite with the athletes
  • Should be experienced roller-skiers and have both Skate and Classic roller-ski equipment
  • We’ll have access to Craftsbury’s new (last summer) 2.5k paved roller-ski circuit
  • Strength training and other dryland training sessions to be scheduled throughout the week
  • Opportunities to enjoy other activities offered at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center (mtn biking, etc…) during down-time

  • We will be opening this up to non-GNA affiliated skiers, but GNA skiers will be given priority

Please note Gunstock also offers Summer Training Programs from June to August.

• Three options for middle- and high-school aged skiers
  • full-time (6 days per week with some double sessions), Mondays off, runs mid-June thru end of August, $600
  • part-time (3 sessions per week), Mondays off, runs mid-June thru end of August, $300
  • per-session ($15), Mondays off, runs mid-June thru end of August, $15 per session
  • GNA has a limited selection of ‘combi’ rollerskis available for lease, but we encourage you to buy your own…

  • Please Note: for all of these training programs, you need to communicate with coach Nina about your plans for the summer, and on a weekly basis.  It’s impossible for Nina to plan for each session, and provide individual support, without knowing who is going to show up on any given day
