START/FINISH Participants may report times for “runs” that start between 8 am and 4 pm daily. You may take as many runs as you like in the Jan. 23-31 time period. You need a valid ski ticket (or season pass) when you are on the trail.
RACE COURSE Three loops of a 7K Course. Essentially “out & back” on Boggy Brook. Every effort will be made to provide outbound and inbound classic tracks the full length (excluding some hills.) Stay to the right. This is not a closed course – be courteous and understanding when you encounter touring skiers.
PARKING Parking is limited. The parking lot is located at the top/end of Carter Notch Road. It holds 27 cars. When it is full, you cannot park on the road. You have to wait. This is why we are keeping the course open for 9 days.
COVID Masks are required at all times on Federal land; this course is almost entirely in the White Mountain National Forest.
