Caribou Bog Classic Ski Race (Club & Marathon)

A new addition to the NENSA Popular Race calendar with a 34km ski through the Caribou Bog Trail Center. Hosted by the Penobscot Valley Ski Club, the Caribou Bog Classic Ski Race has been taking place since the mid 1980s. The race now utilizes a 11.5 K course that multiple laps will be done to achieve the 34K long race. Race organizers are excited to share recent trail improvements along with a new trail center with waxing room facilities. This race is promoted as a citizen race encouraging all ages and skiing abilities to participate. An optional short course is offered for the less experienced ski racers.
