34th Annual Flying Moose Classic
February 9
The 2025 edition of the Flying Moose. The nordic race that reminds you that all those Maine moose spend a lot of time going up and down in the hills of western Maine! Start again at the Bethel Inn with time spent on the unique Inland Woods and Trails system around the historic community of Bethel. Classic 25 k half-marathon, half-distances, and kids options available.

“With storm after storm, the snow is piling up in Bethel, and we have an amazing base for our Flying Moose Classic Half-Marathon! We will have two 12.5KM loops as planned for the event, and we also have a 12.5KM race, 3KM race for middle schoolers, and a 1 KM for grades K-5. With a new PB100 Piston Bully Groomer, our tracks should be perfect! Don’t miss out – Register Today!”
Flying Moose Classic – Sunday, February 9th, 2025 Classic Mass Start Race
- 25 k, 12.5 k, Middle School 3 k and 1 k Youth
- Open, and Para/Sit Ski options.
- Open race scored to Zak Cup and part of NENSA Marathon Series.
