Dublin Double – Eastern Cup Finals – Weekend #4
Dublin, New Hampshire
Hosted by DublinXC
Saturday and Sunday, February 19-20, 2022

All coaches and skiers should carefully review the course map and stadium layout for Sunday (posted on the DublinXC site).  Pay special attention to the lapping lanes and the figure-8 nature of the course.  The lap lanes through the stadium are only used coming off the upper portion of the course — meaning as you come off the lower portion of the course you proceed directly to the upper portion of the course.  5km skiers will ski the stadium lap once and 10km skiers will ski it three times.

SUNDAY UPDATE: 15km is changed to 10km on 2.5km snowmaking course. Please note we have changed start times for Sunday’s races due to the excellent field sizes. Intervals for starts will be 30”. No cooldown on course. Course is open to bibbed coaches and athletes for warmup / preview with bibs on backwards.

From the Dublin OC – 2/17pm:

We are closely monitoring the storm hitting New England Thursday evening. In the event we cannot run our 5 km course the race jury may decide to shift to our 2.5 km snowmaking course (see map). They may also decide to change the 15 km event on Sunday to 10km. Please note we have changed start times for Sunday’s races due to the excellent field sizes. Intervals for starts will be 30”.

For Friday we hope to be able to open courses for inspection at 4 pm. We have lights on the course and will keep the sprint course and the 2.5 km course open until 8 pm. We ask that people not arrive at the venue before 4 pm to give time for the conditions in the parking lot and on the course to firm up. We look forward to seeing you soon!
