NENSA’s Eastern High School and U16 Championships are capstone events of the racing season for junior athletes. Skiers qualify for the events through their state’s qualification system and spend a long weekend in March representing their state and racing against some of the fastest skiers in North America. Top overall performers at the two championship events will qualify for NENSA’s Regional Development Group Camp in the summer 2027.
What were once regional events, pitting eastern state teams against one another, these championship events have grown into national, even international, events. In recent years, skiers from the Midwest, Great Lakes, Colorado and Canada have joined in the fun. Their presence has increased both the competitiveness of the field and the energy and comradery of the entire event.

We are pleased to announce that the 2027 U16 Championships will be at Titcomb Mountain in Farmington, ME, and the 2027 Eastern High School Championships will be at the Rikert Outdoor Center in Ripton, VT.
