NENSA is celebrating our 30th anniversary in 2025. As part of the occasion, we’re gathering reflections from skiers across New England on the people, moments, and values which have defined the NENSA community. This week, we are featuring Dartmouth skier and US Ski Team Member, Jack Lange.

Your connections to NENSA and years involved?
Jack Lange (JL): Many years of BKL skiing, Eastern Cup races, JN teams, rollerski events, camps, and friendship.
What has skiing in New England meant to your life or your community?
JL: From learning to ski and being surrounded by the best community ever to bringing home the Alaska Cup, NENSA has supported me through my journey and built the strongest community around.

Can you share a moment that embodies the spirit of New England skiing?
JL: I remember wading through feet of snow at Weston ski track at one of my first BKL Festivals.
